What would a life that lights you up look and feel like?

It’s a great question to ask yourself, do you agree?

I had a moment the other day, a realization that my day was exactly as I had envisioned it 3 years ago when this life seemed just a dream.

I went to spin class in the am, came home started my calls, had an in-person client session in the pm followed by another client call, then a dear friend came over to hang out with our little rescue kitten Romeo (he’s a real heartbreaker..) and at night I danced Salsa and Bachata on a rooftop under the stars in the Mexican Caribbean…

Ok, at the time when I was visualizing this life the dancing was not part of it but it sure is the icing on the cake because it brings me so much joy and through it I’ve met some of the most amazing people.

 

All I did was I followed my own DESIRE.

And…

Yes, it was scary.

I admit there were times when I thought:

“Am I crazy to leave a 6-figure prestigious Hollywood job with benefits, a hefty bonus, 5 weeks of paid vacation, opportunities to grow and mingle with movers and shakers for what again…?

Moving to Mexico and being 100% focused on my business helping others step into their big vision and making it a reality…?

It seemed so far-fetched, yet I had to do it.

I felt so strongly about it on the inside and it’s been a very rewarding journey to be of service to others, despite the inevitable ups and downs that come with entrepreneurship.

I wouldn’t change it.

So let me ask you this again?

What would a life that lights you up look and feel like for you?

What do you see for yourself, what do you hear, what does it feel like on the inside?

The truth is your desire is guiding you on the path to your purpose and you DESERVE all the good that is coming to you as a result of it.

And if you’re worried about being responsible for your own paycheck every month, consider this:

Right now, while you’re still in your corporate job is the best possible time to start thinking about what that next chapter is going to look like, create the vision and develop a plan that will make that vision your new reality.

Because at this very moment you do have a steady investor, your corporate paycheck.

The money is coming in steadily every month, so this is the perfect time to get started, build your business on the side until you’re ready to cut the cord.

I want to emphasize this because so many women I speak with feel guilty about following their soul’s calling to step into their desire.

Not only do you deserve it, but you owe it to yourself to VALUE yourself enough to step into what you came here to do.

And in turn not only will it enrich your life, but you will inspire others to do the same.

So, if something is calling you, start TODAY, be brave, be courageous and go for it!
