Your potential client has many options to choose from when they’re finally ready to make their decision.

Just take a moment and look at your own buying habits. Chances are you shop around, am I right? You’re looking to get the best possible deal and you end up going with the person that you resonate with the most.

That’s why YOU must be the one that’s on top of their mind when they are finally ready to pull the trigger. To do that you have to be in front of them consistently and persistently.

You have to go the extra mile and do extraordinary things that your competitors are not even thinking about doing. This is how you position yourself uniquely in the marketplace and become their  GO-TO-EXPERT.

Ever seen those Facebook posts where somebody asks,

“Hey, can you recommend a good…?”

You want to get to the point where people recommend you because you’ve consistently shown up and added value. My question for you is:

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY TO CONNECT WITH YOUR POTENTIAL CLIENTS?

No matter what business you’re in, you must first reach them with your message and build a strong connection before you can even think about making the sale.

And your message has to be out there every single day, it has to be in front of your people so that when they are ready to buy, you are the first person that comes to mind.

You also want to think about how can you connect with more than one person at a time.

The more people you reach with your message, the more opportunities you have to grow your income.

One tried and tested method is to automate your marketing, create a powerful funnel that captures leads on a daily basis. Another one is to get in front of larger audiences either via video content (think Facebook Lives) or speaking engagements.

Sales is in essence all about personal contact. People buy from those they like, know and trust.

Start thinking about how you can personalize the contact with your prospect. How can you be in service to them offering something that is totally unexpected, so that when the time comes, they’ll remember you as their go-to person.

As Maya Angelou said: People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

When you make them feel good about their interaction with you the sale becomes effortless.
