Part of owning a business is to know when you have to invest into upgrades so that your systems can grow with you business. For me that time is now.
I am switching to a new email platform which will help serve my clients better going forward and support me with an upcoming launch.
I also recently brought on a couple of new team members for a large project that I am working on. I knew I was not going to be able to do this on my own, so I hired an awesome virtual team who is going to support me going forward.
No woman goes it alone!
We all need a team who support us in our life and in our business. Let’s face it Oprah has the same amount of hours in her day as you and I and she is running multiple businesses. She can do it because she has a great support team and knows how to delegate. You don’t have to do EVERYTHING in your business yourself.
The key is knowing when it is time to invest into that level of support. Let me share with you how I knew it was time. My story might help you make a decision if you are on the fence.
A couple of months ago I made a massive financial investment in my business — I hired one of the world’s top coaches to help me with my own business strategy. It was more money than I had ever spent on anything before in my life. I only told a few people and they were joking I could have bought a car for this money. Yes, I could have, but I didn’t need a car.
I needed a rock solid business strategy.
And the odd thing was this time I did not freak out about the money as I had so many times before and just like that it showed up.
At the VIP day one of the first things he asked me was:
“Are you willing to do what it takes to get what you desire?”
Of course I was quick to say yes, so he followed up:
“Well, that’s good to hear but what would stop you?”
What would stop me would be not having the support I need to execute what he asked me to do. Quite frankly I am not a tech person, so I knew I needed to get help from experts, in order for me to be able to focus on what it is I do best.
Teach and coach my clients on how to position themselves to stand out in a crowded marketplace.
And here we are. New system, new team and newly found passion for the work I do. I am so excited for what’s to come and how I will be able to serve my clients so much better in the future.
All it took for me to see that is have somebody who is so much further along than me show me the way.
So if you are on the fence about whether it is time to up-level your biz, ask yourself where you are going. Do you have the structures and the support in place to get you there? If the answer is NO, then it’s time.
