With the end of year fast approaching now is good time to start thinking about where to take your business next and what you want to create in the new year.

January is going to be upon us before you know it and what better time to launch a new program or product? Think about it for a moment.

We are all keen to implement our New Year’s resolutions in the first few days of January, so are your customers and clients.

They do want to get fit and healthy. They do want to finally embark on that journey of personal development, invest in a branding photo shoot, get that website designed, have a personal style make-over, sign up for that yoga teacher training, get serious about marketing their business, … in short do the things they have been wanting to do for a while but for one reason or another they have put them on the back burner. Until now that is.

“There is truth in the saying “You got to strike the iron while it is hot”.

Ask yourself what could possibly be on your client’s/customer’s New Year’s resolutions list and how can you tap into this desire in the first few days of January?

It is the perfect time to either launch your new program/service or start promoting a training or retreat you have coming up later in the year.
In order to strike when the iron is hot, you have to be ready, so

NOW is the time to plan.

First get really clear on what it is you want to create and how it benefits your ideal client. What is top of their list of things to tackle and what are they more than ready to invest in?

Then start planning out your marketing timeline working back from your intended launch date. This is going to be your guide, your road map that ensures all your marketing efforts are in sync and drive to the goal of selling your product or service.

Decide which marketing activities are you going to implement every single week leading up to your launch.

How are you warming up your audience to your offer? What freebies are you creating? Are you inviting people on a preview call or a webinar?

What are your weekly newsletter topics that tie into your offer?
What social media postings will you create and on which platforms?

This is by  no means a complete list. Depending on the industry you are in there might be publicity or promotional opportunities available for you to consider.

Next get really specific about all the marketing materials that need to be created for your launch (e.g. graphics, videos, sales pages, email sequences, newsletters, solo mailers, Facebook or other ads, flyers, brochures,…)

Once you have this outlined and it all makes sense, begin working on your content.

You see, to do this right, there is a lot of work involved. That is why NOW is the best time to get started so you can be ready on January 1st and make those sales.

Much love,
Simona
